Well the weather was atrocious, but the spirits were high yesterday for our first Art & Antique road show which was basically a wash out, we had to cancel the Art and the BBQ part, however, an amazing amount of people still came along with their treasures to be valued and assessed, and thanks to Viv and Richard our stalwart Antique dealers a lot of people went away very happy with their newly valued and now favourite collectable items !!
The marquee was abandoned due to saturation so all the excitement was in the ballroom ! along with the photographic studio set up by Shirley who produced some excellent sepia/vintage style photography and lovely momento's for the families that looked wonderful all dressed up in our Victorian costumes.
The Devonshire cream Teas where again a big hit, as usual ! So we are all set and ready for our next Road Show on Sunday February 27th - with hopefully some lovely sunshine so we can have all the artists showing off their work. Look forward to seeing you al there !!!
