Station Refreshment Rooms
These will be open for Athenree Teas every Sunday from September 6th to November 1st from 1pm until 4pm.
From then on the hours will extend to 10am until 3pm for the summer season, ending the season with a special Mother's Day High tea.
Tours are welcome with prior notice of date and numbers.
Options:
1. Athenree Tea - a traditional, freshly baked scone topped with jam and cream with tea and/or coffee.
2. Athenree Tea with a conducted tour through the Homestead
3. FOR GROUPS OF 10 OR MORE - High Tea or Ploughman's Platter.
High Tea: includes Athenree Tea and a selection of freshly made sandwiches.
Ploughman's Platter: includes cold meats, cheeses and pickles served with a fresh roll.
Please note: All Homestead staff are volunteers; it is important that we have firm dates and numbers in advance.
We look forward to serving you at our beautiful venue. Come and enjoy the sea and rural views from the deck or sit inside and enjoy the history of the station.

ANTIQUES ROADSHOW

Just what is the value of that piece that Aunty Mary left you in her Will?
Our very popular Antiques Roadshow which
is held every two years is back in 2015.
There is a limit of 3 pieces per person at one time, and there is a charge
of $5 for each item valued.
Refreshments will be available from the
newly refitted Athenree Railway Station Refreshment Rooms, situated on site,
and the Homestead will be open for viewing.
The day opens at 10am and finishes around
3pm.

THE HOMESTEAD’S NEW
FACILITY
The old Athenree Railway Station which
used to be situated by the front gate was moved last year to behind the
Homestead and refitted. It now contains a kitchen. It can be utilised as a
meeting venue
and is
ideal for holding small workshops. It can also be
hired by commercial
caterers with clients
who wish to hold functions in the Homestead grounds eg. weddings.
